MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- The turnover of Russian food delivery service igooods tripled in 2020 to 7.8 billion rubles thanks to stronger positions in the regions of presence, new chains, a wider geography of the franchising chain, and the coronavirus pandemic, the company said on Tuesday in a statement.
“We forecast double growth in 2021. To this end we’ll cement our positions in the regions and open new cities and countries for igooods,” head and co-founder Grigory Kunis said.
“Next year we plan to start working in a European country. We’ll hold a new round of investment, which will presumably end in April–June 2021.”
The average check rose by 17% to 4,285 rubles in 2020, including the delivery cost.
